Responsible last year for a huge remix of I’m Coming Up by Made & Sax featuring Michelle Weeks, Scavo has produced a simple yet huge driving percussive track. As the beats intensify, the simple repeated “respect” vocal is introduced before leading into an atmospheric breakdown. Nice effects complement the addictive rhythms to produce a great big room NYC tribal edged house track.

Rene Amesz & Peter Gelderblom are a formidable duo in the house music world at present. This year having produced the huge Strike Me Down with Wally Lopez, and remixes of By The Way by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Xpand by Deux, Shake It Baby by Tom Stephan amongst many more, their remix of Insomnia is simply huge. Tough beats and a massive hands-in-the-air breakdown, this remix stays true to the original but adds an extra level of strength and attitude.

It’s catchy, funky and perhaps cheesy, but nevertheless this addictive track is sure to do well over the next 6 months. With the cheeky “I’ll lick your icecream… you can lick my lollipop” featured amongst a male/female call and response vocal, this electro edged house track is sure to have mainstream appeal, perhaps in the same vein as Fix My Sink by DJ Sneak a few years back.

Belocca & Soneec have consistently produced quality productions and Feel The Music is no exception. With a soulful chordal element adding an extra dimension to some strong beats, Feel the Music is a gorgeous emotional house track that comes to life when the strings are introduced. Suited to early as well as very late club sets, Feel The Music demonstrates the talent of its producers, who have been responsible for some huge tough big room tracks of recent.

Featuring tough tribal beats complemented by the wailing vocals of Kathy Brown, Ocean Drums is quite simply an amazing big room track. With a number of short breakdowns throughout the track and some elevating effects, Ocean Drums is a strong yet soulful mainroom monster. Cue the main breakdown to end all breakdowns: within this monster lies a gorgeous heart.

Responsible for the huge “Til There Was U”, Starr’s latest release gets the mainroom treatment from Santucci. With parallels to Trentemoeller’s take on “What Else is There?” Crash delivers with strong beats and alluring vocals. Sure to find resonance with both electro-house and big room NYC fans, with timely breakdowns and build-ups and great arrangement.

The Buzzin Fly label rarely disappoints and Rocco’s latest effort is no exception. Part of the Rodamaal team, Rocco’s release is a deep and driving electrified bordering progressive track that certainly moves. When the main breakdown hits the track takes an emotional turn with strings and chordal progressions taking the track to the next level.

This talented duo from Hungary have created themselves a huge reputation for big room tracks, alongside compatriots Belocca & Soneec. Work It, however, is an amazing, uplifting and soulful Grant Nelson type track complete with brass and keys. The big room remix is left to Amesz & Gelderblom who deliver, with tough beats and strong sub basslines hitting the spot.

This huge string led track would have been more in tune with Axwell’s Mambana alias a few years back. Featuring a simple yet great vocal, Axwell’s latest offering is a huge change from his other tracks being produced of late, for instance his remix of Jump by Madonna. Slightly repetitive but nonetheless catchy, I Found You will no doubt bring more attention to this amazing producer.

David Penn has been prolific of late, producing the tracks Come With Me, Do You Feel It, the remix of Pray For Love as well as other tracks on his Urbana label. Teaming up with the talented Sebastian Gamboa, La Vida features subtle afro beats, which build and introduce some awesome keys, strings, brass effects and a nice latin element. The breakdown is simply sublime and guaranteed to get a crowd moving.
