Review on Mobin Master and Bill Fragos feat Karina Chavez at Betterdays/OneLove (Melbourne) Sun 12 June 2005, by Bill Fragos.
Sunday night's performance was probably one of my biggest and the audience reaction was amazing. Two hour set from 11:30pm til 1:30am along with Mobin Master. Karina Chavez performed 3 tracks for the last 10-15mins and did a great job, as always.
Set kicked off with "What Happened" by HCCR, which grabbed the attention of approx 1500 - 2000 people. We knew we were in for a treat when we dropped "Make a Move" by Joey Negro followed by "Sunshine of my Love" by Hoxton Whores vs Cream. After that, the crowd lifted and things got a little interesting.
Huge tracks for the night were:
Je Suis Music - Cerrone (Armand Van Helden Rmx)
Be Free With Your Love - Miami Dub Machine
Pasilda - AfroMedusa (Seamus Haji Rmx)
Pump Up the Jam vs Cant Get Enough
Into Your Eyes - Armand Van Helden
Lanzarote vs Let's Get Happy
Galvanize - Chemical Bros (SG - Mobin Master Rmx)
but the biggest response was to "Strings" - MK MTV Rmx with "I Have a Dream". The reaction was simply breathtaking! The digital video footage we have captures the moment quite well too!!!
Thanks to everyone that turned up and voiced their appreciation. Hopefully back in Melbourne playing OneLove soon!

What a night it was. An informed decision to push new music only this week, check out what happened. Played the most upfront of tunes and some (well known to us) soulgood monsters!
Biggest tracks of the night were:
Gian Presents Jam mixed with Don't Stop Till You Get Enough -MJ looping underneath!

The house music lovers were blessed recently with the presence of RobKay from Aviators/Cabin Crew. RobKay performed a very upfront house set, following on from the stylish performance of resident DJ Audioporn. A friendly crowd jammed Cargo to witness these great sets.
Highlights of RobKay's set included "Right about now" by Mousse T (Fuzzy Hair Rmx), as well as "Violence 2004" (by the Aviators) and "Star 2 Fall" (by Cabin Crew).
Bill Fragos then followed through to the early hours of the morning playing some of the SoulGood favourites with a massive response from the faithful. "Strings of Life" by SoulCentral (MK MTV Rmx), "8 Letters" by Holmes Ives (MK MTV Rmx) and "21st Century" by Dave Spoon were some of the stand out tracks.

Once again Mobin Master produced an awesome performance at Savvy Bar on Saturday 29 January 2005. A two hour set enabled Mobin to squeeze in his biggest and newest tunes and the Savvy and SoulGood faithful responded accordingly. A great vibe and a short and "intense" impromptu performance from Bill Fragos made this one of the most memorable sets.

Many people celebrate Australia Day in very different ways. On Tuesday Night 25 January 2005 the SoulGood Crew (Bill Fragos and Mobin Master) celebrated Australia Day eve along with about other 400 people at Garage Bar & Dining. Once again a huge performance with the Rogue Traders taking over for the rest of the evening. A great night and a responsive crowd. Thanks to Geoff and Kong for helping with the photos, though I have no idea where you guys disappeared to during peak moments!!!

Click below for the photos from the superb night at Cargo Club on Wednesday 12 January 2005. Support on the night came from SoulGood's own Bill Fragos and Mobin Master.
