Title: Diamond Life
Artist: Louie Vega & Jay Sinister featuring Julie McKnight

This track has been around for a little while in different packages. This release on Yoshitoshi features the warm Bootleg mix that fans of Masters at Work will adore, with similarities to the MAW release “Backfired” not going unnoticed.

Julie McKnight’s smooth vocals are used to great effect to complement the cool progressions, arrangement, production and mood created by the track. The Dean Coleman mix is a tough tribal edged house mix. The vocals are used, perhaps a bit too much given the style of the track, but nonetheless features great solid beats and awesome production. Works well in those deeper main room sets, this mix shows the talents of this producer who promises so much and definitely deserves the attention of house and progressive djs alike. The compilation also features a MAW mix that is great, stylish and more relaxed than the other versions, but a bit lacking in production quality. There is also a Deep Dish progressive/break mix that is also worthy of attention.
