Hi guys, sorry I haven't posted for a while, been rather slack.

Tunes I've picked up in the last fortnight or so and am enjoying playing are:

Jay-J feat. Charlene Moore - With Him (Ron Carroll's BMC Black Gospel Feel Edit)
One for the ladies, I'm surprised at just how well it works.

Cato Azul - La Guitarra (Kid massive Chunky Re-Dub)
Absolutely stomping breakdown for peaktime madness with guitar and epic effects that'll make you feel like you're watching the final tear jerking scene to a save-the-world flick. How I feel anyway.

The Layabouts feat.Shola Phillips - Love is Everything (BORN TO FUNK Mix)
My absolute #1 winner of the moment, forget the other remixes this one works anywhere anytime. Haven't felt fresh bassline energy like this since the first time I heard a Kid Creme remix.

Dennis Ferrer - Son Of Raw
Deeper than deep with absolutely gorgeous production. The tune doesn't really go anywhere but why bother - it's already found perfection as far as I'm concerned. Moving but gentle chords teasing throughout. Catchy, soulful vocal riff comes in late in the piece for those on those on the dance floor who have seen the ride to the end.

This One feat aB - The One (C-Mos Remix)
Euphoric yet sad (?) feel to this peak time gorgeous tune, a treat to have BOS echo on his Sax. Personal fave at the moment.

Born to Funk feat. MC Cupid - Rock Da House
Shuffling ploddy beat, nice filtered effects, draws them to the floor. Nothing on the genius level in terms of production, in fact a bit bare, but works well under any older catchy vocal loop for an easy DIY on the fly remix.

Anthony Acid feat. Ruby - Sweat (Cella Dwellers Remix)
Not sure how long this has been around for but only got my hands on it 3 weeks ago. I still love the Original remix (same lyrics that, well, make you wanna dance till you're soakin wet)... but this one has a huge chord breakdown (and groove throughout) to stamp it's authority on the d-floor. Impossible not to dance to.

Denis The Menace & Jerry Ropero vs Young Rebels - Time To Turn Around (Jules Spinner Remix)
I've found this to be a very smile inducing track. Honest.

My random thoughts. Add yours.

Ok I'll save you the rambling, but pop into Vodka Bar (Mosvka) Saturday night from 2am to hear these tunes as well:

Deepgroove - Break Of Dawn (Mark Knight Piano Mix)

Shik Stylko - The Vibe Track

Sueno Soul - A Better Love (Dave Spoon Remix)

Cato Azul - Sambo Negro (Thomas Salling Remix)

Can't wait to spin these babies and see you all on the dance floor. Take care, Ben.

Thanks again Sara for dancing, it's always nice to have appreciative people on the dance floor. I'll have to get you to email me some of those photos, I think there was a cool one taken from below the decks with you two girls in it...

Hope you had a great night! BOS on Sax is back next weekend and we have some great new tunes for him to play over, so see you there!

Well I just bought my very first digital camera today so watch out! I'll give it a test run Saturday.

Get the study done, you won't want to miss this week. Oh - and catch a cab this time so you use my drink cards instead of pocketing them.

Sneaky.
