Many would know that I am a fan of Laurent Wolf. “Saxo” (Afrodynamic III) and “Calinda” (Ritmodynamic) are awesome tracks that have not got the recognition they deserve. Well hopefully Laurent Wolf will hit the big time with this massive track. “About That” is an awesome track with “cross-over” potential. Were it not for the sultry vocals, the track would be a tribal house track. The dub is evidence of this fact. The vocals are smart, with a great melody, verses, bridge and exceptionally catchy chorus and outro-chorus.

The production and the arrangement are spot on. The beats sound very similar to H-Foundation remix of DJ Dan’s “Put That Record Back On” (which probably ripped from elsewhere anyway). Bassline is nice and deep and filters are used really well. This track will probably be one of the biggest house tracks of the year. If this review doesn’t convince you, then buy it simply for one of the coolest record sleeves ever!
