Title: Nekoosa
Artist: Audiowhores

Ever reliable label producers another decent offering. The Original and John Julius Knight are similar to each other. Both maintain a very jazzy feel that sometimes appears on the label and both use the “hook” (which is nice but may grate) in very much the same way. The beats/rhythm is in the vein of Masters At Work/Dj Gregory, with that slight latin touch. The arrangement and production are cool. Nothing spectacular, still two very pleasant and hypnotic versions that suit the bar/relaxed environments.

My preference is for the solar club version, which still maintains the hook effect but with slightly less jazzy influence to the rest of the composition. This version features really lovely keys/rhodes and sensuous bassline that works in relaxed environments as well as earlier sets. Great beats, production and simple arrangement.
