Title: Get Down Before U Get Up Artist: Jason Jinx Label: Groove On
Snappy jackin house track by the busy Jason Jinx/Rubber Souls. Minimal but funky lead in to the first breakdown, where the percussion (timbales?) is added to cool effect. Vocals are pretty cool, with two distinct separate vocal ad libs to great complementing effect. Despite its simplicity, lovers of true house music will enjoy this one. The keyboard effects are funky which helps to lift the track. Reasonable production, arrangement and main breakdown. Not a huge track, but nonetheless quirky, interesting and funky.
