Track: Feel the Funk - Black Shampoo/Eddie Amador Label: So True Recordings
Nice sampling house track by one of the masters of house music. Of recent, Mr Amador has been supplying many a house DJ with clever tracks as part of the Mochico series, and he does not disappoint with his latest offering on So True Recordings. Cruisy to strong house track with a long intro that leads into a nice string hook/sample. A track that fits well early in a main set. Nice strong diva vocal and screams (“feel the funk”) that complements the music well and decent arrangement. Beats are a bit dirty but that’s not a bad thing, given the style of the track. Feel the funk.
