Ibiza was one of the most relaxing weeks that I think I have ever had. A typical day would involve the following:
-
2pm Wake up, hit the beach.
-
5pm Make your way to a beach bar. Grab some Sangria and watch the sun set and fire twirlers, while any number of superstar DJ’s pump the tunes out across the water.
-
10pm Head back into town, grab some dinner, shower and head out to the clubs.
-
Midnight - Head out to the clubs.
Note: Clubs in Ibiza do not open before midnight.
There are numerous other things to do on the island:
-
Hire a scooter and go explore beaches, coves and generally get away from San Antonio. The beaches on the other side of the island are much better.
-
Champagne diving from tour boats. (Although not a good move after a big night, it can make you quite ill).
-
Go check out some villas in the hills. Tell them that you are a manager for a number of Australian DJ’s and you are looking for somewhere to put them up. You may even run into one or two superstar DJ’s and end up hanging out with them.
The last week of the parties’ in the first half of September guarantees big names as the clubs wind up their season with a bang, therefore making the long flight from Australia worthwhile.
